Gary Mehlhoff at the Artesian Well I had posted this picture of Gary at the artesian well on Facebook, and later as I was working in my garden and I was reminded of Christ being "our" living water. His love flows freely! You must accept Him as your Savior! We had never been to this well before. We knew it existed, but had never taken the time to go. As one friend said, "It is the best water in the world." Accepting Christ as your Savior is the BEST living water you could ever have in your life! I'm sure you've heard of Christ and His dying on the cross for your sins. Maybe you've avoided the avenue which leads to Him. I encourage you to quit dodging Him and take the time to find Him.   Asking God to Change Me? For years I have prayed for God to change me! You ask, “Why would anyone pray that, knowing that He will take you through circumstances which you have no control.” I want to be less of me and more about Him! I like the analogy a piano tuner gave me once. She said if a piano has been out of tune for a while, you don’t get it in perfect tune right away because if you did you would break/destroy the wire. God doesn’t want to destroy us, so He slowly uses things/people/circumstances to change us. When we are His, we want to submit to His will and what is best for our lives! If  you can't look inward and see what God is trying to teach you through adversities, then you might have a problem. I view every battle as an opportunity to grow. Do you always think it is the other person who has the problem? If it is always the other person who has the problem, then seek God's wisdom and not man's. Why do I say, not man's? We tend to go to people who are going to tell us what we want to hear. God is going to tell us what we need to hear.
